Stop looking it's amazing. Worth every penny. You get plenty and the service is worth the wait.
So good. Best barbecue in the mountains. We tried an assortment of sides and meats and all were fantastic. The old store makes for an awesome location. I remember when the service station was still open. Service was excellent. The teenage boys serving the food were so friendly. Will definitely be back.
In the Pigeon Forge area for a weekend with my Dad, brothers and son...annual guys getaway. Gotta local recommendation for Delauders and it was good! We split a couple of combo dinners: meat moist and flavorful, potato's crispy, beans and greens savory. It's all about the food as the store is rustic and simple. Self service counter but staff kept beverages filled and tables cleaned. Also, given the size of the store, larger parties cannot be accommodated. Enjoy!
I've never been to Tennessee and this was my first time visiting that state. The fiancé and I were actually in TN to watch NASCAR and when that was done we had a road trip down to Atlanta, GA. Another state I've never been to lol. Along the route towards that few hours of driving, we needed to stop by Delauders BBQ. We saw it on YouTube and everything looks sooooo good so it was on our list. So glad we did because it was finger licking good!!! They had a more limited menu that day but the fiancé and I got the dinner for 2 and he also got a side of brisket and we ordered the corn nuggets as well. For the sides we got baked beans, coleslaw, and friend mac and cheese. It also comes with buns so you can make a slider!! The pulled pork and ribs were sooooooo delicious!! My fiancé really enjoyed the brisket too! He was very amazed because I never would get my hands dirty when I eat ribs, maybe two fingers on one hand. But I was using both my hands which tells you how good those ribs were!!! The owner was super chill as well. Very easy to talk to and super nice guy! The business is family owned and ran and you definitely can tell he cares about his customers and community when talking to him. The inside feels very homey as well! It has some cool looking decor! lol that street light! Haha anyways if you've never tried Delauders BBQ out in Gatlinburg, TN, then you definitely need to go!! You will not be disappointed!! I'm already drooling thinking bout the ribs there and when the next time I'll be able to go there again!!
Forget all the BBQ places, like Bennett's, and go to DeLauters- this IS the best BBQ! Exceles food and portions were big!
Absolutely some of the best ribs and brisket we've had in forever. Husband and I just left there. Very large portions. We brought some home with us. Absolutely recommend this place if you are in Gatlinburg.
Delauders BBQ is one of those restaurants where you can't judge it based on appearances. This place has so much to offer and amazing food to share. As soon as we walked in, we were met with smiles and a warm welcome. The restaurant atmosphere is rustic and clean, and it really seems like a good spot for the locals as well as out of towners looking for a great place to eat. The food was excellent; it was our first time having corn nuggets, which we enjoyed, and the cheddar jalapeño bites were an awesome touch. We got the pulled pork nachos, the two meat platter, and the brisket dinner. In every entrée, the pork was smoked or cooked to absolute perfection. There's a reason this restaurant has 5 stars and great reviews, I cannot recommend this great place enough.
We drove to this little roadside bbq restaurant family owned. If you're in Tennessee get there earlier only 8 tables but it's worth the wait. We got there when the opened son seated us and we checked out the menu this place is small but the FLAVORS ARE HUGH!!!! After you decide what you want you go to the counter and order take your seat and then you get served. We ordered the meal for 2 which was had ribs, pull pork , collard greens, Mac and cheese and homestyle potato salad that you could tell the family takes pride in their food. The service was great and we felt like part of the family. Oh I forgot the jalapeño nuggets tasty.
This unassuming BBQ place is doing everything right when it comes to food! After reading the reviews, I knew to not judge it by the outer appearance, and I am so happy I went for it. If you are looking for fancy digs, this is not it. But your belly will thank you. The ribs, brisket, sausage, fried macaroni and cheese, and potato salad were the tried items. They have soft drinks and iced tea (sweet and unsweet). No desserts were available, but I was told they generally offer banana pudding. They had a big catering event this day, so they weren't able to make it. The staff (also owners) were fantastic and friendly. Of note: there aren't many tables, but we didn't have a long wait. Definitely will be back, as this was one of our favorite stops on our Gatlinburg trip.
First time here was 2016. New location since then. Easier to get to. Food just as I remembered. So good falling off the bone. This beats all other BBQ in the area. Don't leave town until you've come here. Need to wait until 4:00 pm. Not open Monday Tuesday and Wednesday
